Don't forget to put your May flowers out. This old Irish custom involves gathering flowers on May Eve (or in some places on May day morning) and leaving them in front of the main threshold. It was believed to protect the house from harm or evil.

FFVII Rebirth lead battle programmer Satoru Koyama says that during Remake's development, they had a bug where characters inflicted with frog would stand and pose like humans. Because Rebirth modified how the frog status is handled, the same bug popped up once again! (RbU 2024)

Behold this breathtaking 2nd-century BCE terracotta sculpture from the National Museum, Delhi!

A man carries a woman on his shoulders as she rests her hands on her head. In the ancient West at the same time, law allowed a husband to throw his wife if she hated him.

Destruction runs deep here. Invaders spared men but ravaged women at Pune's Bhuleshwar Temple.

My hunch? Perhaps a woman's gaze towards a man angered the invader. The man's smile could hold the clue.

A beautiful glass bowl, made in a pale bluey-green grass with a ridged pattern all around it. Made about 2000 years ago, probably in Italy, it is a wonderful example of Roman glasswork in the early Imperial period Archaeology

Archaeology news!
First class archaeologist Beike has discovered the Dutch Pompeii!
A treasure trove of pottery, surely there must be a whole lost city under our farm...

Or you know, just some early 20th century roof tiles, but we're not telling Beike that, she's so proud!
