Note to future self: NEVER update any software at 9pm at night when your IT department is unavailable! Your dreams will be about waiting for them to get your computer working again!

Thanks for the invite Millennium Science! If anyone is interested in #Tfh responses in human #malaria, the Boyle Lab has various exciting projects using #scrnaseq exploring them. Feel free to watch our most recent recording of the work! @QIMRBerghofer Postdoctoral association of QIMR Berghofer

If you are thinking about how to help flood affected people in our beautiful city of #BNE in the next week... As someone who lost pretty much everthing in 2011 and who then did a ethnographic study on community responses in the following year ... I have a few thoughts/1

During his PhD in our team at Doherty Institute , @cam_williams999 grappled with spatial transcriptomic data (with Fei Chen Lab, Chen Lab, MIT, and guidance from roser at Wellcome Sanger Institute). This review marks a culmination of our thoughts so far. We hope it's useful.

Bringing V(D)J analysis to the single-cell space is difficult. We continued to developed dandelion to help with this, finding some interesting new biology along the way in this new pre-print! Cambridge University Wellcome Sanger Institute Clatworthy Lab Teichlab biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

The latest review from our lab: B cells, IEI/PID, immune memory, allergy. A journey thru 30 yrs of my research. But really a tribute to terrific PhD students who worked on these topics during the past 20 yrs Immunological Reviews onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/im…

Huge learning curve to take part in this. Thankful for the opportunity to learn and contribute, and hopefully it will be a good learning resource for others like me out there too! #singlecell #immunerepertoire #TCR #BCR

Our multimodal model to combine TCR sequences with scRNA-seq is finally out. The most interesting part for me was observing a clear case where the combination of TCR sequence and cell state (RNA) preserved both clonotype and cell type information, leading to a more holistic cell

So i'm very happy to say that my very talented honours student has reimplemented the entire trajectory workflow in R, intersecting with Nick Borcherding's scRepetoire! Code is now live github.com/tuonglab/dande… but lacking vignette; will be up shortly!)

scRepertoire now has a function to remove TCR/BCR VDJ genes from the variable features used for dimensional reduction. Friends don't let friends bias their clusters with indirect measures of clonal expansion. borch.dev/uploads/screpe…
