#TwitteRx - how are pharm residency programs handling the new DOL ruling? Requires minimum $58,656 annual salary by 1/1/25 to be exempt from overtime. Appears to exclude medical residents but not pharm residents (please correct if a misinterpretation on my part). ASHP

The hallmark of expertise is no longer how much you know. It's how well you synthesize. Information scarcity rewarded knowledge acquisition. Information abundance requires pattern recognition. It's not enough to collect facts. The future belongs to those who connect dots.

Took some time this week to reflect on growth. 10 yrs ago (2014), there were only 3 EM Pharmacists in the entire Louisville (KY) region. In 2024 -> 12/17 (>70%) of major hospitals with EDs have EM Pharmacy presence and services. [~25 EM pharmacists/positions]
