Update - EWSS I have raised the issue with relevant Ministers with regards to changes relating to EWSS (Employment Wage Suppliment Scheme) Exclusion of Proprietary Directors from the EWSS discriminates against sole traders / SME owners Minister Paschal Donohoe must fix the problem

Can any politicians explain the logic of discriminating against Proprietary Directors by excluding from the EWSS? We are just a small family business that has lost half our staff and 50% of our turnover. It seems a bizarre punishment for having struggled to reopen.

Update The Restaurants Association of Ireland 🇮🇪 has today written to every Government Minister requesting a minimum daily quota of Government Employees return to working in their designated Departments as soon as possible in order to generate economic activity in our Cities

So our glorious leader's are heading off for 6 weeks holidays, leaving 1000s of proprietary directors out of the EWSS , yet we're expected to employ, to not have holidays, work 7 days a week and deal with it quietly. F**k that! No seats here for you lot Micheál Martin
