We did it!! Today the Equalities Commission EHRC published new national guidance against Afro hair discrimination in schools!📣 I’m so glad to have helped draft these resources. We want Black children to be proud of their identity, not punished for it. theguardian.com/education/2022…

Almost 90% of the children in prison have been excluded from school. Excluding them didn't work. It didn't shock them onto a different path. It accelerated the one they were already on. We have to find another way. #semh #exclusion #Headteacher #inclusion

I will never understand why schools remove play in an effort to focus on academics when we know that play is one of the very things we need in order to focus on academics.

71% of children sentenced in the youth justice system had speech, language and communication needs. But, half of Wales’ 17 Youth Justice Services still do not have embedded speech and language therapists. Today we call all young people to have a #VoiceForJustice #RCSLT
