So yesterday, I tried level 2&3 thickener in squash after seeing my first #dysphagia patient. I think it is so important for us to know exactly what it is like for our patients.
I then spent the afternoon with voice patients and practised some exercises π£Thank you, Adult SLTππΌ
1/ First time attending Birmingham City University SLT at BCU applicant day. Delivered an introductory session on dysphagia rehabilitation to a large group of applicants and their parents with student ambassadors supporting. Significant improvement in pre/post scores. But also some lovely feedback
