There must be some responsibility taken by President Biden, Secretary Blinken and others who repeatedly claimed that Netanyahu had accepted a deal. Most importantly, they need to change course and put real, public pressure on Netanyahu to stop blocking a deal from being reached.

Seriously. This is not 5-dimensional diplomatic chess. Netanyahu is willing to sacrifice both Palestinian and Israeli lives to preserve his own power, and will keep doing that until his cost/benefit calculation changes, which only the US can do, and which Biden refuses to.
