Lasty Ian Albert for Hitchin North puts forward North Herts Council procurement policy with an increased focus on using local suppliers. Seconded by Martin Stears-Handscomb. This is approved and thanks is rightly given to the hard work of the council officers.

After 100,000 have died, the reality is that we had a Prime Minister critically unsuited to a time of crisis. He is someone who may have got by in better times but not when serious and timely decisions had to be made & when administrative ability was required. I leave it there.

Strange how the Prime Minister argues at one and the same time that schools are safe and that they are vectors for transmission which causes the virus to spread between households.

Politics For All The Sun Except there is little to no evidence of voter fraud in the UK, and the few cases that have hit the news have tended to be postal voting. So call it what it is: voter suppression. 🗳

Glad to see my colleague Baroness Sharon Taylor of Stevenage, OBE raising at the #Hertfordshire County Council Meeting that flooding hotspots remain untackled for years in this county. This is something I get regular feedback on from residents in the #Letchworth North Division.

Keir Starmer and his team are trying to scapegoat Angela Rayner for Labour’s disaster. Trying to pin the blame on a working class woman for *their* lack of vision or strategy, *their* lack of answers to the country’s problems. The absolute pits.

Can Sajid Javid confirm he will resign from his extra-parliamentary role as an advisor to JP Morgan or that he intends to do so at the earliest opportunity to avoid any perception of a conflict of interest as he takes on the role as guardian of the NHS?

What a winner. A true British hero. Congratulations Emma Raducanu on an inspirational win. From qualifier to champion without dropping a set. A phenomenal achievement. #USOpen

BREAKING: Labour's Fair Pay Agreements would give working people a pay rise and boost our economy. Labour would bring together representatives from workers and employers to agree minimum pay and conditions in their industry. Good for working people. Good for business. #Lab21

.InterContinental London Park Lane I’m disappointed that you are hosting a conference for climate wrecking Big Oil companies. These corporations are driving the climate crisis which is wreaking havoc across the world right now. I expect you to rule out hosting another conference like this again!
