Article is on Agni-IV test, but always interesting to see this: "India has also for long modified some Sukhoi-30MKI, Mirage-2000 & Jaguar fighters to deliver nuclear gravity bombs. The new French-origin Rafale fighters... are also capable of doing it." timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/india-te…

Incoming thread from MTA PI, Matthew Bunn: Putin’s decision to suspend participation in New START is a huge mistake for Russia’s own security interests. Russia will have less transparency and predictability for planning its own strategic forces. (1/x)

Russia's suspension of New START is evidence that it is doubling down on a strategy of nuclear bullying. It is the latest in a series of trends of bad behavior and manipulating nuclear risks. But that isn't what really worries me.... 1/ CSIS Project on Nuclear Issues @csis_isp

I have learned much from Mansoor Ahmed over the years & was pleased to have a chance to review his book, Pakistan’s Pathway to the Bomb: Ambitions, Politics, and Rivalries, for The Nonproliferation Review (NPR). As I say in the review, if you are interested in these topics, you should buy it.
