The much-loved (but perhaps time-worn) “The Secret Life Of The Home” Science Museum gallery is to close… so if you’ve never been to the basement or want a last👀: go before 2 June! Free tickets & blogpost on it: blog.sciencemuseum.org.uk/saying-goodbye…

Mary Beard is giving this year’s Octavia Hill lecture National Trust. She has just said that National Trust controversies are nothing new and have been happening throughout the Trust’s history. Her words: ‘the Trust has always been pushy, activist and awkward.’ 😊

I have been hoping for this, how great to hear Matt Forde and Jon on Down the Dog today. Pleased to hear you are recovering Matt.
Just been out for tea with 8bitnorthxstitch to Yane in Chorlton. Amazing Japanese comfort food. We loved it.
Congratulations to Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock awarded Dame Commander Of The Order Of The British Empire (DBE)

Very proud to have produced this. Presented by Kirsty Wark and featuring Tracey Emin, Christopher Kane & Professor Claire Wilcox and of course Vivienne herself. We’ve got punk, corsets & high heels too! Thank you to everyone who helped me. Tune in BBC Radio 4 tomorrow at 8pm.
