Track and field athletes generally fall into 2 categories believers and mystics. The believers know there is a reason to performance based on skill, effort, honesty understanding and execution. Mystics think there is a secret, shortcut, a routine, or a workout that is the key.

The lack of empathy in this generation is depressing AF.

Sometime all track athletes have mental breakdowns and if you can’t have one of those in your coach arms he ain’t your coach.
