I made in my first OpenSSL contribution using Time Travel Debugging in WinDbg ✨ 7 years since that feature debuted on CppCon. Thanks James McNellis and his colleagues.

Sean Baxter What a strawman... It's not about forcing "security on everyone" -- as a starter it's merely about giving developers the *option* of ensuring parts of their code is secure. The status quo is that insecure code is being forced on everyone!

An implementation of the latest C++ pattern matching proposal (wg21.link/p2688r2), `match` expression, is available on Compiler Explorer! Most of the proposed patterns and constant evaluation are implemented. Example link: godbolt.org/z/d9sG69Gn9

The Pro's Closet 倒了。

@ibie43 "With their fancy jobs I'll be able to get the rents up faster." What an ass. OK dude - they'll just move. Sure there's plenty of other market rate rentals around they'll have no problem qualifying for.

A paper book is organized by chapters, not evenly divided pages. It makes no difference if the book is printed on an infinitely long paper. Dividing a program in files is due to physical limitations. I can program in a single file if incremental compilation applies to one file.

> Asks if 'if err != nil' is really that bad > Screenshot example shows accidental fallthrough from error case to success case Do we really need to discuss further?

Memory safety disinformation abounds - Profiles make C++ memory safe. They don't. - Memory safety plans involve rewriting all your C++ code. Wrong. - Rust is just as unsafe because of its 'unsafe' keyword. Untrue. - Memory safety is no longer a concern because Trump. False.

I'm very excited about C++26 reflection. However, people underestimate what you can achieve *today*! Inspired by Barry Revzin's awesome "Practical Reflection" talk at CppCon, I wrote automatic Dear #imgui generation for structs, including labels! (via Boost.PFR) #cpp #gamedev
