The Corbyn years demonstrated that liberal newspapers like the Guardian will support radical alternatives in the abstract, but will furiously destroy those radical alternatives once they get close to power. The corporate media is a ginormous barrier to social progress.

Most important part of this Keir Starmer clip is part where he says carbon capture will help solve climate crisis. It’s a non entity technology going nowhere for 20 years and is 1 rung above climate denial. It makes you worry about how serious Starmer is.

The BBC put together a report about "toxic" tweets aimed at MPs, using an AI to analyse 3 million tweets. It claimed ethnicity didn't play a role in MPs being more likely to receive abusive tweets, but didn't even programme the AI to flag racist abuse. And the report's still up!

I want to engage this question earnestly, b/c it’s a legit question. The answer is yes, I do look at left, too. Left-wing activists are responsible for 2% of murders committed by political extremists in the US over the past decade; right-wing activists are responsible for 74%.
