Research from Cancer Research UK has shown about 2.4 million people in the UK are waiting for cancer screening, treatment or tests. That is a staggering number. How have we let this happen? Cancer patients have been tossed aside. We have to get moving and quick.

Thanks Professor Karol Sikora! Please everyone, do not wait until this pandemic is "over" before getting symptoms checked. I was screened this time last year and it saved my life. I dread to think of the consequences had I waited due to fear. #breastcancerawareness Breast Cancer Now

As Alicia Keys communicates so beautifully here, like so many of you, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking over the past few weeks. I tried to put words to what I’m feeling about this moment, how we got here, and where we’re headed. I hope you’ll join us: yt.be/dearclassof2020

I've enjoyed many aspects of spending ALL OF THIS TIME with my five year old... But being woken up with #PokemonGO chat ain't one of them. Help Nicola Sturgeon! How many weeks till the weans are back again?! πŸ€ͺπŸ˜–πŸ˜† #gamesabogey

"Just". Four letters. That's all it took to dump more shame on overwhelmed parents. Four letters. Not even as many letters as are in the word 'shame'. This is really disappointing Tes magazine .

I get such joy from taking my grandchildren to our local playground. Getting them open again would be such a boost for the nation's children. I don't think we appreciate how difficult it has been for them. Reopening the playgrounds would be fantastic for them.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's faces! 😍 (and if I can get my temperamental WebCam to work, you may even see mine!! 😁🀞🏻😁)

So excited to present our leavers song. Inspired by the amazing interpreters on the daily briefings, P7 worked remotely to create our farewell video 😒 Thanks to Wayne Barrow | The Deaf Audiologist for the stunning performance on YouTube. Nicola Sturgeon British Sign Language Hugh Jackman #leavers

Just when I had mopped up my tears from yesterday... That's me off on one again! πŸ˜πŸ˜†.. Such a beautiful (virtual) leavers assembly yesterday. So glad I could be part of it this year. Have a wonderful summer everyone! ❀️🌞❀️

This! Again thank you Professor Karol Sikora for highlighting this. I have a few family members who are registered blind and social distancing has really impacted them - fearing going out/being judged and saying that this has "taken away the last of [their] independence" πŸ˜”πŸ’” #BeKind

There is such a fine line between encouraging caution and stirring up fear. I know there's not much room for a nuanced argument in a headline, but sometimes the message is too much. Mental health issues are rife and growing. We need a balance.

Even before this crisis, I think young people have had such a bad deal. This year has just worsened that. So much debt, and will many of them ever get on the housing ladder? I don't blame young people at all, I think the vast majority have been absolutely amazing this year.
