Substantive discussion with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський in #Vilnius , on the margins of the #3SI Summit. I reiterated our firm support for Ukraine🇺🇦, on all relevant dimensions&our determination to consolidate regional connectivity, sustainable cross-border cooperation&energy security.

Saying farewell to a good old friend, Ambassador of Georgia to Ireland, George Zurabashvili, a hardworking, dedicated and effective diplomat. I wish him and his country well. Romania will always be a supporter of the European aspirations of the Georgian people! 🇷🇴🤝🇬🇪

Attended the 82nd Ard Fheis (party congress) of Fine Gael in Galway. Delegates formalised passing of the baton from outgoing party leader Leo Varadkar to new party leader Simon Harris TD who is expected to become Ireland’s next Taoiseach (prime minister) this coming week.

Pleased to be back in Galway, along with my colleagues from the Consular Section who provided consular services to Romanians leaving in the area. Big thank you to Maria Plamada and her team of volunteers - and to Father Ghita for the warm welcome at the Romanian Orthodox Church!
