Great to be in St Thomas's Junior National School in Lucan today to mark a really significant expansion of the hot school meals programme to 900 more primary schools.
This will mean an extra 150,000 children are going to benefit from a hot meal during school!

A wonderful visit to St Thomas’s Junior National School in Lucan where Simon Harris TD and I announced a major expansion of the Hot School Meals Scheme.

✅ Programme has now grown from 30 schools to over 2,000.

✅ Good News: Fine Gael has expanded the Hot School Meals Programme to include an extra 900 primary schools.

This will benefit 150,000 children right across the country.

Uniform Gardaí are to carry out at least 30 minutes of roads safety policing per shift with immediate effect, due to the increase of fatalities on our roads.
 
This increased presence will also help An Garda Síochána to detect other crimes which rely on our road networks.
