We should never forget the appalling overreach of the state during covid. Imagine banning people from going for a solitary walk in the countryside! It was never justified. It must never happen again.

Helen Whately knew full well how despicably cruel keeping relatives out of care homes was - she warned Matt Hancock - but she went on the airwaves to defend it anyway. Helen Whately MP

With Matt Hancock and Helen Whately MP working hard on their careers, we fought 24 hours a day to get their attention. We shouted that people were dying in isolation, we didn’t sleep, we cried daily, we pleaded with them to help. We were ignored by many. We won’t forget.

🧑🏾‍🤝‍🧑🏼 Hospital patients and care home residents should always be able to get visits from their loved ones. That’s why we’re planning to strengthen the rules on visiting to make sure there are no unnecessary restrictions. 📢 Have your say: gov.uk/government/con…

Yet another one. When will someone get a grip of adult social care. These endless “special measures” sanctions clearly aren’t improving things Care Rights UK. Will you be better The Labour Party ?

The loss of trust in the regulator from families has been there for many years. Reports of issues unanswered, those they are meant to protect unprotected. To lose the lack of trust & respect of the people that pay them to be registered as well is quite extraordinary
