Did you know that SFUSD serves students preK-12+? Today I visited AccessSFUSD at The Arc. This phenomenal program teaches life skills, independence, community connection — and is an example of the outstanding work our students and educators accomplish together.

A huge congrats to the Mission Bay community on their ground breaking project for a long awaited public school in this neighborhood! With Pre K, student workforce readiness programs, & critical resources for teachers, I can’t wait to see what our future students will accomplish!

I had so much fun last night at the Chinese American Democratic Club’s 64th Annual Banquet alongside my colleagues @LainieforSFBOE and @LisaforSFBOE – and I am grateful for CADC’s support for us as School Board members and candidates.

I had a great morning getting the word out to voters alongside @LainieforSFBOE, Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, Filipino American Democratic Club of San Francisco, and the Better Roads and Transit, Yes on L campaigns! Election Day is 10 days away and the future of SFUSD is on the ballot – make a plan to vote today.

A massive thank you to all the amazing volunteers that came out and gave their Sunday morning to get out the word for Lisa Weissman-Ward Lainie Motamedi and @AnnforSFboe our endorsed candidates for Board of Education! Let’s make the most of these remaining 9 days! #GOTV #DoTheWork

I’ve had so much fun celebrating Halloween with some amazing supporters, including London Breed, Senator Scott Wiener, & Rafael Mandelman! 🎃 Nov. 8th is 8 days away! I’m confident we can get across the finish line together & ensure student success for every child at SFUSD.

My team will be at Moscone Park Playground tomorrow morning passing out voting materials, including precincts for door hanging and signs for me, @AnnforSFboe & Lisa Weissman-Ward! Drop by from 9am – 12pm tomorrow to ensure we get out the vote for a better SFUSD for all students.

After a 10 year hiatus, SFUSD has released its first High School Course Catalog. In 2019, I first advocated for its return alongside students and PEEF colleagues. This is a win in for transparency and for building back trust with our students and families. Thank you #SFUSD
