Since my appointment to the School Board, I’ve met with many parents, families, educators, and community members to hear about their needs and how we can improve outcomes for all children at SFUSD together. When our communities are strong, our schools are strong.

I blinked and my first born, & one of my absolute most favorite campaign helpers, turned 11 years old! He & his little brother are my daily reminder about why I’m in this race-to make sure we are providing an education that is rooted in equity & excellence for all SFUSD children.

I had a great morning getting the word out to voters alongside @LainieforSFBOE, Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, Filipino American Democratic Club of San Francisco, and the Better Roads and Transit, Yes on L campaigns! Election Day is 10 days away and the future of SFUSD is on the ballot – make a plan to vote today.

I’m so grateful to have the support of our union and I’m committed to supporting our educators because without them, we can’t support our students.

In between the much needed rain showers this weekend, we got outside and encouraged people across the city to get out and vote! Thankful to Mayor London Breed for her trust in me to do right by our students, educators and families. #LetsDoThis!
