Saturday is World Sepsis Day and I’m supporting the The UK Sepsis Trust #SepsisSavvy campaign so people can recognize the early signs of sepsis. Sepsis affects 245,000 people in the UK annually, claiming 48,000 lives. I’m proud to stand alongside our inspirational local campaigner

After the appalling racially aggravated attack on a Sikh woman in Oldbury, it is heartening to see people across the country and in Ealing Southall stand in solidarity with victims of violence against women and girls. The perpetrators must face justice.
