Just discovered Raycast today and I have to say, it’s easily one of the best pieces of software I’ve ever used! Some of the integrations I’ve tried so far are ChatGPT, Arc, and Tailwind Documentation.

After trying dozens of to-do apps and complex Notion systems to manage my to-do list. Apple Notes wins. Simple. Free. Always synced between devices. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution.

Client work exposes me to many frameworks for building web apps. Next.js, Vue.js, Django, etc. Building with Ruby on Rails feels like cheating. You can build and ship so incredibly fast.

Debugging hits different when it's your own product vs client work. Client bug: "Ugh, not this again" My product bug: "Interesting... let me try 5 more approaches" Ownership changes everything.

I suck at sticking to habits. Tried all the habit apps. Tried tracking them on a spreadsheet. Nothing worked. Always gave up after 2-3 weeks. So I built my own app that helps me stick to habits. Check it out: habitlogs.com #buildinpublic
