This weekend, Providence Teachers members voted overwhelmingly to say they have no confidence in Providence's Superintendent or Takeover Commissioner. This vote was months in the making, the product of decisions that were not in the best interest of students, teachers, or staff.

Safe Schools RI A predator was hired by the people who “took over” PPSD. As a parent, I am so disturbed that a parent advocacy group would support the people and the system that put Ss in Providence, and ultimately, children in our state at risk. This is not advocacy, it’s dirty politics

The state take over have failed our most vulnerable children in Providence Public Schools failed our parents and failed Black educators and other educators of color. The state take over needs to end, its creating toxic stress and trauma on us especially already traumatized people.

Not so random thought - when principal that HP brought here called me in his office to tell me 497 called to tell him I was tweeting about charter schools . I looked at him & told him I’ve been tweeting abt supporting public schools b4 he got to Prov and I’m not stopping.

Nothing random. They are calculated! When people speak up they try to intimidate and bully them into silence. This is the Angelica Infante and ssoo way and it’s time everyone knew it! Thank you for having to courage to speak out!
