Providence Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 3, to ensure student safety during the expected extreme cold and wind chill. Before and after school programs including sports are also canceled. Saturday school is also cancelled. Stay safe and warm everyone!

A new teacher at a HS stated, “Their management style is about intimidation and control rather than support!”, will be leaving our district to go to another district where they are valued and respected as a professional! Way to GO, PPSD! Lost another one😡

I remember this meeting vividly.Know the level of incompetence only increased in the past 2+ years. Our situation is dire + it seems that no one gives a ** anymore. Not even the senators that were involved in the oversight committee meetings. PPSD T’s + S’s have been abandoned

The Providence Public Schools Math Department has been the best part of 797 for the last few years. Supportive, knowledgeable, and organized. No communication about the reassignment has even been shared with the math coaches. Most found out on X.

The work with the DM group has been a complete waste of time and resources. At school we joke that the only good thing about our budget cuts would be that we wouldn’t have to work with them anymore.
