Fake it till you make it. You need to change your behaviour to recover from AN. One way to do this is pretend you don’t have an ED and eat without restriction. It will be hard at first but your brain will catch up eventually.

It's heartening to see the conclusion in this important paper state: 'BMI at the end of treatment is a predictor of relapse in AN, which is why treatment should target a BMI well above 20.' 👏👏👏 I've always said 25 as a minimum.

It doesn’t matter how long someone has been unwell, it isn’t an excuse to not treat a person with the best possible care if they have been unwell for decades, interventions can happen at any stage of the illness and can save lives!
