The Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) Julius Kamau met with clergy from the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) for discussions on tree growing as one way through which the church can support government's climate action efforts and achievement of 30% tree cover by 2032.

Taking children into the forest, explaining to them that trees are alive, communicate with other trees, sleep at night, and produce the oxygen we breathe, awakens an understanding that is important for the environment. Only what is understood will be treated with respect.💚🌳🌲🍀

Morning thoughts A bee lives for 4 to 6 weeks, during this time it produces no more than 1 teaspoon of honey. To do this, it has to fly to up to 3000 flowers a day and cover around 800 km during its entire life. Just teaspoon of honey for us, but a whole lifetime for the bee🐝💚
