3/ The UK Government must right this historic wrong, and go beyond the recommendations of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and deliver fair compensation to these women as a matter of urgency.

Great to see the mellifluous Frances Neil of WASPI South East Essex on BBC Newsnight yesterday. #WASPI Campaign women have suffered for far too long. I personally believe that their injustice deserve fair compensation. 1 WASPI woman dies every 13 minutes. They cannot wait any longer! ⏱️

We will fight for #FairandFastCompensation WASPI_2018 #WASPI Campaign #WaspiWomen along with our supportive #APPG who recommended level 6 as the most appropriate which is £10k.

Sadly Sir Jeremy Hunt MP thinks we #WASPI Campaign WASPI_2018 #WaspiWomen are stupid and believe that there's any comparison between the two campaign asks are alike..#chalkandcheese Do wish they would do their homework.🤔🙄

Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman Judith Robertson BBC Radio 4 £1-3000? What have you learned in all these yrs? My kids (the youngest 16 att) lost their home, schools, friends, choirs, standard of living with no pocket money, no holidays & have suffered everything I have including health from poor diet and mental health from stress-4 shame!

#WASPI #1950sWomen "WASPI continues to campaign vociferously, being seen by many as the natural descendants of the suffragettes". #Europe is watching the #UKGovernment. euroweeklynews.com/2024/03/24/vic…

Very good debate that started at 4.40 on parliament channel. Re 1950s waspi women .Grateful thanks to all the MPs who made the effort to turn up and speak so well re maladministration and compensation.Spotted Jeremy Corbyn at the back 😀

200,000 women in Wales and 4,000 in Cynon Valley have suffered an injustice. The compensation remedy in the report is insufficient and indeed insulting. We need a compensation scheme that will give fair, appropriate and fast compensation to these women. #WASPI #50swomen

So heartened by the show of support for urgent compensation 4 #Waspi women demonstrated by MPs from all parties but seriously disappointed by DWP minister saying only that he will look closely at the report, consider its contents and refusing to give any timescale. WASPIWestDunbarton

I'm sorry to #WASPI Campaign campaigners in the City of Durham that I couldn't be in today's statement - I'm still recovering from surgery. My position hasn't changed, though. WASPI women, and all affected #1950sWomen everywhere - deserve justice. That must mean compensation.

.#WASPI Campaign Government's response to the WASPI Report is shameful. They've dragged their heels for over a decade on fair compensation. The latest findings leave no choice but to act swiftly. No more delays, these women deserve justice now. #WASPI 🐝 ⚖️ #FairCompensation

WASPI_2018 #WASPI Campaign #WaspiWomen thank all #MPs from all parties for keeping the #waspi ladies in the #governments minds today, although we have gone from "must wait for ombudsman's final report" to "there will be no undue delay in our approach" 🙄 #MPs so appreciate it👍

And it's not the complicated document Mel Stride tries to hide behind. It has a very clear conclusion that #WASPI women suffered from Department for Work and Pensions maladminstration which merits compensation. Parliament must agree that compensation with no delay.

DevonWASPI (@waspidevon) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I'm not a Government Minister paid thousands to weigh matters of state I'm a #WASPI woman and I read and understood the report. The Department for Work and Pensions got it badly wrong, they refuse to own up and they need to pay up.
