@ewrconsortium East West Rail progress East West Rail pictures showing that East West Rail used a field by the construction of the Winslow Train Station, 2 was taken in 2021 the others taken today well done to East West Rail to restoring the landscape but will HS2 do the same.

First passenger train over the new East West line, 168328/323. A small step nearer to opening. ⁦The Railway Magazine⁩ ⁦RAIL EXPRESS⁩ Location is Clayton, with HS2 construction in background. Unit coming over HS2 bridge.

And the 168s were quickly followed by 800005 on a gauging run from Paddington to Bletchley High Level. I understand this is part of preparations for diversions to Euston

First passenger train over the East West line carrying passengers (stakeholders and VIPs) operated today from South Marston Euro Terminal to Milton Keynes Central, hauled by 47746 with 47848 at the rear. Weather was dire, it was trying to snow! No news of an opening date yet.
