A visual argument for vaccines, in five tweets: 1/ A ward of polio victims, incarcerated inside "iron lungs" in 1950s America. Many are children, their lungs paralysed, unable to breathe unaided. Thanks to vaccination, no-one has caught polio in the UK since the 1980s.

Maybe what all this has shown us, what we need to learn from it, is that doing well in your exams when you're 16 or 18 isn't the criteria that should determine how you get a step up in life.

The Queen's Gambit has been viewed by 62 million people. The producer, Allan Scott, is on BBC News talking about how it took 30 years, with 9 rewrites, and every studio he showed it to said that no one would be interested in chess. PLEASE PERSEVERE WITH THAT THING YOU'RE MAKING

It's already 2021 in New Zealand. That's what happens when you have a woman Prime Minister who knows what she's doing. UK lagging behind again.

One thing I touched on with the Prime Minister was ways to course correct on the voucher scheme. If families can't access food consistently likelihood is they do not have access to a printer to print the vouchers at home. UK Prime Minister agreed to look into this.

Tonight It’s A Sin on Channel 4 The best five hours of television I’ve seen in years. Your heart will be broken, warmed and lifted. Cast amazing. Soundtrack epic but most of all it’s about the genius and compassion of Russell T Davies
