Just before the storm hit again today ,
I took a wander around the garden and picked up a few broken bluebells to put in a pot ,
Bloody weather has moved in again and the wind and rain is bloody awful …
But the bluebells are wonderful this year ..

Day off number one..

Yes ..I’m awake at stupid o’clock ..

Husband is snoring away in the other room ..

And I’m so comfy in my bed ,
Anyone want to bring me tea and toast ..

Well hungry husband has been asleep for an hour now
So I’m taking my glass of wine up to bed with me

Apparently as I worked both my days off yesterday and today
They are giving me the rest of the week off
I’m not working till the weekend
Let’s see how this pans out shall we

I got a lot of compliments today for my cakes,
But this had to be the best ,
I did all the cakes gluten free to be safe

My FOH Bella is gluten free and is always hanging around hoping for a GF titbit ,
After sampling my carrot cake this is what she sent me ..
I can die happy 😂

I give you sticky honey and garlic chicken with mixed veg rice noodles..

Went into work today to do 360/400 mini cakes and was met by,
WE NEED SCONES…
Ohh okay,let me see what I can do I said
Did a batch of each then got on with carrot cakes,
brownies , lemon drizzle cakes and Victoria sandwich cakes
I’m In tomorrow to put the whole lot together 😮

I’ll make my own ..
I’ve heard that charcoal is good for you ..

Well my five days off ended quite abruptly
Big wake on Monday lunchtime for 120 and lots of cakes to be made,

So I’ve agreed to go in and bake cakes from midday tomorrow
And go back Monday morning to decorate, plate and slice

Still the two days off I’ve had have been great 😂😂
