Sotheavin Doch conducted a training for journalists who were equipped with open data reporting skills #SSMediaLab18

According to Open Data Watch Uganda has a better score than Cambodia on access to open data. However internet penetration in Uganda and capacity to leverage open data is more limited - Sotheavin Doch #SSMediaLab18

Sotheavin highlights some of the tools and processes used by ICT4Dem such as @tiu_uganda & Women of Uganda Network to promote citizen engagement with duty bearers (gov't officials). The use of low tech such as SMS and toll free lines are critical in the Uganda #SSMediaLab18
