The pond formerly known as Kenwood ladies pond on Hampstead heath is now officially a second mixed sex pond. Opened in 1926. Before then women could swim in the mens pond 1 day a week. It never made 100 years as a woman only haven. 😢

Our plum tree has produced a truly bumper crop this year. This weekend I have made plum ice cream, plum cordial, plum sponge pudding, plum compote and plum jam.
