With your support, Catskill Animal Sanctuary will find a new, more climate-resilient property to call home. Thanks to Hilary Howard and the The New York Times for sharing the challenges faced by sanctuaries around the country. Please share widely! nytimes.com/2024/02/22/nyr…

We are aware of reports that members of the World Central Kitchen team have been killed in an IDF attack while working to support our humanitarian food delivery efforts in Gaza. This is a tragedy. Humanitarian aid workers and civilians should NEVER be a target. EVER.

THANK YOU Hilary Howard and NYT Metro for covering this topic and our "Selling Flood RISK: NYC" report which found that last year $3.6 billion dollars of sales of 1-3 family homes are likely to flood before their mortgage is due. nytimes.com/2024/09/14/nyr…

The current air quality index in some monitors has now reached 201 (Very Unhealthy). New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory that remains in effect through tomorrow. Where it’s showing Very Unhealthy levels, everyone is at risk. Serious health effects are possible.
