Sue Allison Fair comment Sue. The research is initially directed at docs, but will hopefully be extended to other front-line HC professionals. And you're right. It's much easier to suppress non-medical staff, who suffer just as much but whose stories seldom get the attention that they merit.

Peter Duffy Is this specifically drs Peter? What about that poor nurse who poured petrol over himself and set himself alight.
Whoever is doing the research should not diminish the effects of WB on the mental health of non- medical staff, whose stories are most easily suppressed.

This is a huge issue in the resourcing crisis that has spiralled out of control over the past decade. Any Policing Board members have a view? What questions have they asked at the their meetings, have they asked for data, have they asked is there a strategy to deal with this?
