Displacement never ends in #Gaza. Nearly 84% of the Gaza Strip - about 305 km² - has been placed under evacuation orders by the Israeli military People run for their lives, grabbing what they can and leaving everything else behind. They are exhausted and have nowhere safe to go.

Clearly illegal collective punishment. To continue to try to justify this (“war,” “human shields,” etc) requires increasingly grotesque dehumanization of an entire people and a sociopathic lack of empathy. We must keep pressing for an end to this and its root cause, occupation.

65 doctors, nurses, and paramedics told the New York Times what they saw in Gaza. What they saw was a pattern of children being shot in the head.

The UK, US & Israel were the last to end support for South Africa’s apartheid regime. Conservatives wore 'Hang Mandela' badges, Thatcher denounced him & the ANC as terrorists & vetoed a UN resolution to impose sanctions. History reminds us that it’s people power that prevails.

Netanyahu has not allowed any food, water, or fuel into Gaza in two weeks. Now he has resumed bombing, killing hundreds of people and breaking the ceasefire that had given Gaza a chance to live again. NO MORE MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL.

Ashamed to have been affiliated with Columbia University early in my career, as they are now doing the work of antisemitic authoritarians for them, all in the name of this confused sham they call combatting antisemitism. Nobody is safer because of this, but the stain will last forever.

Great to see people reacting to my new doc #TheSettlers - a reminder that if you’re in the UK you can watch it on BBC iPlayer bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod…

I was a war correspondent in Vietnam. Some 63 journalists were killed there in 10 years. But never did we fear we were deliberately targeted by the VC or the NVA. The UN says the Israelis have killed >240 journalists in Gaza in less than two years. Deliberately and criminally.

This camera should be exhibited one day in the Genocide Memorial built in memory of the innumerable victims of Israel's genocide in Gaza. Shame on all journalists not raising their voice against the massacre of their brave Palestinian colleagues while documenting the genocide.

It wasn’t a ‘mishap’. It was a deliberate ‘double strike’ mass killing of hospital workers, journalists, and other civilians.

The leaders of 20 major humanitarian aid organizations released this statement calling for someone, anyone, to stop the slaughter in Gaza. This is just part of it:

I want u to hear these 2 doctors from Australia sending their last words, fully aware they could be killed any second. What they’re describing is horror that defies belief. 70% of their patients are kids…
