Very surprising Arjun not in this. Maybe he thinks bring fresh for Grand Swiss/world cup is more important. Would be truly bizarre is he wasn't invited.

I have no issues with events inviting whoever they wish. Just don't pretend that you have a "fair" system of invites. If it was fair, Arjun would have been invited. Instead of Levon or Duda. Just accept that being in the good books of Saint Louis Chess Club is the key criteria.
