Hiring is definitely the hardest part of bootstrapping a startup. I interviewed probably more than 300 people for our marketing and engineering positions this year and we're still looking for the right folks 🤷‍♂️

Some of our clients are doing a great job customizing their community platform with custom CSS. Checkout members.paddlup.com and make sure to become a member if you're into super cars! PS: Can't wait to let them write their own JS on our platform as well.

Charging for customizations and features is one way to fund your SaaS. VCs would think it's a dumb idea but if your goal is to build a sustainable business, I think sharing ownership of the product roadmap with clients is beneficial for everyone.

It's unbelievable that Zapier YouTube integration is not working any more. All posts about the issue is getting closed. community.zapier.com/general-questi… community.zapier.com/general-questi… I don't really understand why they can't simply ask for our Google API keys to workaround the limitations.

Scrum is a cancer. I've been writing software for 25 years, and nothing renders a software team useless like Scrum does. Some anecdotes: 1. They tried to convince me that Poker is a planning tool, not a game. 2. If you want to be more efficient, you must add process, not

I thought driverless cars would be much cheaper. Uber costs $10 vs Waymo $20 for the same distance and the same time. How does this make sense?

Imagine a fully loaded 737 fully crashing every 48h, killing everyone on board. That is how many people die in car crashes. If self driving cars were only 10% safer than humans they would still save many, many lives.
