The hardest thing in gamedev is not getting lost in building things that are not yet used! So easy yo get caught up into building features and methods and helper methods and making things overly complex without having even fully integrated that feature in the actual gameplay.

The amount of assets advertised as game-ready but end up either with way too many triangles and/or too many materials per object is crazy! 😤 This is the real optimisation nightmare. I will end up modelling and texturing all myself. 🤷‍♂️

Just amazing how every 3D program uses different mouse controls. 😵‍💫 I need to do a few click-drag with some shift control/command alt to recalibrate my brain. Switching between UE, Blender and Substance demands lots of focus. 🧘‍♂️

#UnrealEngine is worth noting, that Epic's #Lumen target is just 30/60fps at 1080P on #PS5 level hardware. In contrast, ueVite #fork targets: #4K 60FPS with #raytraced GI on PS5. With our stylized #TechDemo capable of running up to 120FPS 4K Native, still with #RT on PS5
