All services are saying the same thing. @dcediy Roderic O’Gorman TD you need to listen. Core Funding is not working for us and we will ow all have to pass the cost onto parents and pull out of your scheme The Federation of Early Childhood Providers independent.ie/irish-news/chi…

There is a real crisis within the Childcare sector. Why are the concerns of providers, staff and parents not being addressed. Many small and medium services are closing and now many services are being forced out of CF because of lack of funds. The Federation of Early Childhood Providers

The Irish Times No other business has had its fee frozen from 2016 NCS prices. No other business is expected to run a government scheme on 2012 allocations (ECCE). No other business is expected to cover government administration virtually free of charge.

Childcare has been underfunded for decades and we're the badies. Where is the accountability of public money here? The COA has broken us with 10% of sligo services closed this year alone, and hundreds of thousands are spent on a bike shed

Womenscouncilireland Simon Harris TD Proud female entrepreneurs, i.e. owners with undignified take-home pay, don't matter? The backs our economy was built on for decades. Think you need a more nuanced view here. The 98% female-owned sector is being obliterated. Name one sector the govt. is running competently.

No rise in ecce fees again core funding is meaningless to sm ECEC services, very dark day for Early years education, services can't sustain this eternal fee freeze. Time for providers to rethink & look after ourselves. Personally will reduce places and workload enough now #FECP

With focus again in budget on "cheap childcare" ignoring viability for ECEC services the dept have put the final nail in many sm services the writing is clearly on the wall now. ECEC is not valued & being gambled for votes SHAMEFUL €9 mill for phone cases zero to save preschools

Fianna Fáil What about EARLY Childhood Education you are closing our services. We were forced to cut 22 places & 4 staff this wk despite huge waiting list. But we have to peel costs back to the bare bones wind down because we are being pushed out!! Too many services have closed zero response

How Roderic O’Gorman TD has held his seat is beyond me. You have desecrated the childcare sector. Closed down hundreds of services, refused to address issues with our reps and robbed thousands of women of a professional wage through an unjust historical fee freeze #saveourservices
