If you don’t understand the differences in funding from practice to practice you can end up making wildly sweeping generalisations about why some practices struggle . Not Luddite, not standing in the way of change - just don’t have the funding to do everything asked. Simple !

I sat in a workshop yesterday designing a whole new system to look after 1200 people or so (across a County) who are high service users and using 2 hours/year of their GP. It's madness. Just fund primary care properly. And I say that as a UCR doctor & EM consultant.
