"Nigel Farage will challenge Sir Keir Starmer to accompany him on a visit to a working men’s club" Starmer has counter-challenged Farage to turn up in the House of Commons, or in Clacton.

Worth noting that literally every other leader is preferred to Nigel Farage as PM. This could become quite important if/when a general election approaches with polling suggesting Farage has a real shot at being PM

Farage: 'At every PMQs, we see Labour MPs ask the PM... Is the honourable member for Clacton a rotter? I have to sit there and have no means of answering back'. Have you tried actually turning up Nigel Farage MP? You've missed PMQs due to you holidaying or fundraising for Trump.

Within minutes of Farage's announcements Institute for Fiscal Studies warns Reform UK's plans would cost tens of billions of pounds, with unclear funding sources. Sen economist Stuart Adam estimates tax threshold alone could cost between £50bn & £80bn independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

The big problem for Nigel Farage - and Reform - is that an overwhelming majority of people in Britain don’t want him to be Prime Minister.

Serious v unserious. Governing v protesting. That is the dividing line that Starmer can use against Farage. Much better than emulating his policies.

Melanie Phillips had a misleading column in The Times and The Sunday Times yesterday Claiming "net zero targets" have driven up energy prices, when actually it's the cost of gas Here's a letter in this morning's paper challenging it.

Yes - pointing out that the right, in Tory or Reform form, vote against rights for ordinary workers and promise unfunded tax cuts that destroy public finances and public services “works” because it’s true

Neil O'Brien No. It just looks like the Tube did in pretty much any era other than the past decade, as any actual Londoner would know. The only reason it looks like this at all is because the Bakerloo line's automatic washer is currently broken. mylondon.news/news/transport…

Why on earth do BBC News (UK) so relentlessly pander to people who want to destroy them? Their love affair with Reform UK and the lack of actual scrutiny is beyond weird … of all the things happening in the world tonight is the return of someone most viewers have never heard of
