Wow, this is incredibly poor. He's relying on a script, and the script is pure legospeak.

His main criticism is that the FCDO is focussed on 'this idea of the national interest' ... and only idea is to change the building. Shesh, hope rest of senior FCDO aren't so hopeless.

'I find that deeply uncomfortable... the government is saying... I don't want him to be a risk for 'my people' in invested commas so we'll send him somewhere else... that's not good enough.'

In Judge Eicke's dissenting opinion in the Swiss Climate case he makes the points that the Court is opting to overrule the *express vote of Swiss people in their 2021 referendum*, and indeed using that vote as evidence of a violation of human rights:

The way Stella argues is so dishonest.
'We are keeping the 24 week limit'
> but it would mean no longer enforcing the law, allowing near-birth abortions with no penalty
'You haven't seen the amendment yet'
> but you keep saying what it does

This is a deeply troubling judgment by the European Court of Human Rights

The Court has extended its remit, created a new right and established new duties (1)

Our Dentistry Plan is now delivering with nearly 500 more practices across England accepting new adult patients compared to the end of January.

Ignore the naysayers - we are getting on with delivering for you. 🦷🇬🇧

This Westminster job advert shows problem with the Equality Act 2010: it allows racist hiring policies. I don't believe for one second they'll really consider equal merit. Ironically the one thing the Equality Act does give you is equality under the law.

If the population had the same age structure as in 1953, govt could have spent about 9% less than it did in 2021 & still delivered the same services

Me in the Telegraph on demographics and public spending & why we'll need massive public service reform.

At Boom, we've written about why immigration isn't the solution to the demographic challenge.

1. Indefinitely attracting extremely high numbers of migrants may be infeasible

2. No democratic consent for permanent historically unprecedented levels of immigration.

If you are in your 30/40's and went paddling in the sea as child in the 90's there was at least 3x as much sewage in the sea as today.

If you went in the sea in the 70s or 80s it was likely 5x higher, but nobody was really looking.

Not even a denial. You've said people shouldn't be prosecuted for late-term abortions. You say it should be 'fully decriminalised'.

So yes, people could kill a baby the day before he or she is due to be born, and not be prosecuted. That's the consequence of your proposed change.

We don't talk enough about the role of demographics in driving tax and spending.

My new post looks at how demographics helped Mrs Thatcher, but have left politicians since 2010 trying to run up the down escalator financially: A quick🧵:

Stella is arguing for people to be able to kill a baby the day before it is due to be born and face no consequences. This is an incredibly extreme and bad proposal.
