#Scarborough station is home to what is said to be the longest station seat in the world. The bench on platform 1 dates back to the late 1800s and is 137 metres long. We will be arranging a special event around this bench later this year as part of our #Railway200 celebrations.

Good news! 🙌 7 railway sites have been listed at Grade II to celebrate 200 years of the modern railway. Part of a year of celebrations by railway200, they include Woody Bay Station in Devon, here explored by railway historian Tim Dunn.
