Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. We remember the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators, all victims of Nazi persecution and the victims of subsequent genocides. #HMD2023 #HolocaustMemorialDay

It's wonderful to see the love and care that goes into the preservation of #Churchill's grave, to this day, at St Martin's Church in Bladon, Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent historical debut by Matt Taylor, telling the story of the black corps of colonial marines who fought against America in the War of 1812: pen-and-sword.co.uk/Black-Redcoats… Highly recommended

103 y/o Colin Bell, who flew 50 Mosquito missions in WWII, travelled from 🇬🇧to🇫🇷 in a single-engine plane to visit the British Normandy Memorial. A memorable journey exemplifying the Memorial’s "raison d’être" as a focal point for Remembrance of the #Normandy campaign. #WW2 #Veterans
