A splendid day at #SupercarSaturday SalonPrivΓ© at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
I selected this 1962 Jaguar E-type for my entirely hypothetical Christmas list.
On my penultimate day as the ChartwellNT portfolio's Interim General Manager (before returning to my curatorial role on Monday), I thank my lucky stars that I got to lead these wonderful sites through the glorious months of spring. π·

On Tuesday (16 April), it will be the 100-year anniversary of #WinstonChurchill , moving into the house on a hill, ChartwellNT, that captured his heart.
To celebrate, I'll be sharing an exciting announcement here, so keep your eyes peeled. π
Oodles of tulips in the walled garden (walls built by #Churchill himself) at ChartwellNT.

Happy Birthday to #ClementineChurchill , born #OnThisDay in 1885. π
This is my favourite portrait of her, by Douglas Chandor, which hangs in ChartwellNT's drawing room. Just look at the detail of her hands, the brilliant blue of her eyes and that power red lipstick. Exquisite.
I do think U.S. Military Academy at West Point might be the most perfectly situated place I've ever been.
Concluding my stay in the US with a trip to U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Here's me spinning the spur on Maj. Gen. John Sedgwick's shoes, which is said to bring good luck for cadets in their finals, and I'm never one to turn down the chance of a bit of luck. π
Loved my day with the National Park Service team, who run and conserve the houses, interiors and collections at #PresidentRoosevelt 's former home at NPS Hyde Park.
And no I was not given a hat
...much to my regret.
Brilliant day with the US National Archives team at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. There's so much in common with our work ChartwellNT and even some objects that are the same! π
Getting ready to depart from #Nashville today. I've had the best time, with memories that I'll keep forever, but this one might well be the winner - Getting to watch a show at the Grand Ole Opry from the side of the stage.
Utterly amazing. πΊπΈπΈπ€
Such a pleasure to speak for a sold-out crowd of members of the #Tennessee branch of International Churchill Society. With more attendees than the venue could cater for, I'm feeling very humbled right now. βΊοΈ
Still on cloud 9 from being backstage at #Nashville 's legendary #GrandOleOpry last night and getting to hang out with the artists, including this moment with Riders in the Sky!
