The first Standing with Giants silhouette has been installed at the British Normandy Memorial to commemorate the upcoming 80th anniversary of D-Day
The figure is a WW2 soldier with a Lee-Enfield Rifle No.4 slung over his shoulder

The giants have started their journey, currently at Blenheim Palace and will later be making their way to Fort Nelson. #DDay80
Hand-made silhouettes of nearly 1,500 servicemen are being transported to France for an art installation to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
