Great support for Henry Tufnell MP and Welsh Labour in Pembroke today with lots of doorstep conversations

Another busy day on the doorsteps in Mid & South Pembrokeshire today. Strong support across the board for our outstanding candidate Henry Tufnell MP, and it was lovely to catch up with the brilliant Mark Drakeford 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and Christina Rees. What a team!! 👏👏

In the 1950s Labour MP Desmond Donnelly transformed Pembrokeshire’s economic fortunes with the energy industry. It’s time for renewal with the The Labour Party Green Prosperity Plan. Let’s cut energy bills, deliver energy security, create good well paid jobs and tackle climate change.

Fantastic to see so much support for the campaign to save St David’s Surgery at City Hall today. I know how vital it is to have local health services in the community, and I would urge you all to come down and participate in the Hywel Dda UHB consultation this afternoon.

Yesterday’s #GE2024 campaign trail featured a great hustings with Pembrokeshire People First (@SCrabbPembs notably absent again), and positive #labourdoorstep sessions in Neyland. We’re so grateful for all the support - particularly from those putting their trust in us for the first time.

The last super Saturday before #GE2024 was spent in Pembroke Dock today! A massive thank you to everyone for joining us, and especially to Vaughan Gething. We have run a fantastic campaign here in #Pembrokeshire, and are feeling hopeful for #change come Friday.

This morning, Poppy and I threw on our finest Santa suits and joined others for the Santa Run in Tenby. The town was buzzing with festive cheer!🎄🎅 Plus, we earned these very impressive Santa medals—surely the highlight of any wardrobe. Well done to all those who took part.
