Pluripotency & tumorigenicity are both but different manifestations of neural stemness in embryo & a postnatal animal.
EMT/MET/EndMT are groundless 'concepts'

Another possible factor: cancer (tumorigenic) cells ≈ neural (stem/progenitor) cells. ‘Understanding Cancer as a Systemic Disease by Understanding Neural Stemness as the Core Property of Cancer Cell’ preprints.org/manuscript/202… Nature Reviews Cancer
As generalized before, most cancer promoting (incl. resistance) genes are embryonic neural genes, incl. NSD2. They confer cancer cell with neural stemness, (therefore, pluripotency&tumorigenicity), which unifies cancer cell phenotypic traits, incl. resistance. Epigenome Technologies Inc.
Cancer is the consequence of loss of original cell identity and acquirement of neural stemness. Whether a mutation causes cancer depends on its ability to confer neural stemness to cells. This is highly cellular context sensitive. preprints.org/manuscript/202… Cancer Grand Challenges
NAT10 promotes metastasis by modulating embryonic neural regulatory network, because most cancer promoting genes are embryonic neural genes incl. NAT10/P300, which confer cancer cells with neural stemness Neural stem/progenitor cells undergo single-cell migration. Molecular Cell
