I’m profoundly sad to say that as of today, I’ll no longer be able to do my job as co-artistic director of #Touretteshero because of a recent decision by #AccessToWork to cut my support by 61%. Read & share this post, the hardest I've had to write: touretteshero.com/2025/05/23/a-c… 1/4

More than 100 of the UK’s most high-profile disabled people urge the Prime Minister to abandon the “inhumane and catastrophic plans to cut disability benefits”. My exclusive: theguardian.com/society/2025/m…

Hard not to think The Labour Party are using both Winter Fuel Payments and scrapping the two child limit to try to limit growing pressure from their horrific disability benefit cuts. DPAC Northern Ireland DPAC #WelfareNotWarfare

This is desperate from #assistedsuicide extremists. The accusation that no one opposes it without 'religious reasons' is a lie. This is about our essential humanity, not religion. Emile Durkheim, JS Mill and other non-religious ppl opposed suicide of all stripes.

DWP minister said: ‘People like yourselves, with support, you could go to work.’ A few minutes later, Passeri was lying passed out on the meeting-room floor. “He had no idea what to do with this woman lying on the floor who he had just told to get a job.” disabilitynewsservice.com/shock-of-activ…

No one “recovers” from a disability benefits cut. They disappear. From communities. From hope. Sometimes from life. You don’t cut benefits to cut benefits when it’s someone’s lifeline. #TakingThePIP

PIP IS NOT THE ONLY DISABILITY BENEFIT AT RISK! Please don’t forget about Universal Credit (especially LCWRA), and Contribution-Based ESA. Also Carer’s Allowance, benefits cap exemptions, Council Tax reductions, Social Care, and lots more. Focusing only on PIP isn’t enough.
