Increasing fines for school non-attendance will penalise the vulnerable and push more families into not-really-elective home education. Attendance difficulties aren’t the problem themselves, they are the signal that there is a problem. You can’t solve those problems with fines.

I try not to comment with too many “absolutes” but intubation without immediate waveform capnography should be an absolute no go. If you can’t put waveform capnography in the field you shouldn’t be intubating.
