The problem with psychedelic trials...

Qualifying doctors, who need a job to become fully registered, are due to start work in mid July. Hundreds currently have no idea where/what their jobs will be, despite promises from NHS employers. A disgraceful way to treat new professionals & disastrous workforce planning.

Full of admiration for the Calocane family going on #bbcPanorama . Sadly familiar story. Inpatient MH beds been decimated so desperately ill ppl like Valdo are sent home still psychotic and when they disengage with svcs are discharged from CMHT often with tragic results as here.

Excellent news for ppl living with #schizophrenia in US. Meanwhile #MHRA reviewing regs for #clozapine in UK, but I fear they will tighten despite representations from carers groups. Mortality data are clear, clozapine saves lives. Biggest risk of clozapine is not being on it.
